Epitaph Road

The front cover of the the book, Epitaph Road, looks good, and the summary on the back of the book sounds very interesting. The theme of this book is Gender. It's about a disease that infects only males and kills them, it kills 97% of all males and leaves behind only a few. I believe that later on in the book the women and remaining males will try to find out why this happened, and also find try to find a cure for this disease.

Ricky Bobby and Larry the cable guy were on their way to a party in Times Square, NY on December 31, 2007. They were invited by the Party God who called them on the phone and asked "Yo, bruh....... y'all got to come to my birthday party it's going to be poppin', I already got most of our friends to come, so you down or what?" Rick replied, "Alright, what time is it going to be?" "It'll start around 9". Later that evening Ricky Bobby showed up with Larry. As soon as Ricky Bobby showed up the Party God raised the volume up, and everyone got turnt up to the song "Ricky Bobby". Later on, at midnight the party had more people that nobody invited. The party was so crazy that a zookeeper went to the party too and brought a monkey. This wasn't any ordinary monkey, it liked to party, the monkey went crazy and started to dance way too hard, it was knocking many house decorations down to the floor with joy on it's face. Finally the monkey got tired Larry called animal control to get rid of the monkey, and luckily animal control was at the party as well. After a long time of partying and getting crunk, the Party God asked everyone to clean up, the guests said no, and Ricky Bobby was all like "Nah....... Bruh.........., I just can't right now". He was too tired to even move. Larry the Cable Guy said "I will clean up if you let me install Qwigger Cable". "Alright" said the Party God. Everyone left so that Larry could start cleaning and installing the cable. Once he was done the Party God said "Thanks for coming to my birthday party you two, y'all made this the best day of my life." "Your welcome bro" replied Larry and Ricky, and with that said Party God escorted them to his front door and they left, leaving Party God alone and finally going to sleep.

The Hero

"A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to preserve and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles"
                  - Christopher Reeve (Superman)
This quote is stating that anyone can be a hero, it doesn't have to be a superhero such as superman. As long as you are inspired by the person you want to be like or who you look up to, that person can be your hero. I agree with this quote because Christopher Reeve is right about not having to have super powers or a special ability. It can simply be a friend or family member who you look up to. A great hero could be a parent. A police officer or a firefighter that can protect you and makes you look up to them can also be your hero. It can also be your neighbor that saved you when you were choking.
